I hope you like this little story! I just love it!!! Can you just picture GOD laughing at this? LOL!!
Little Benjamin sat down at the desk to write a letter to GOD asking for a little baby sister. He started the letter like this:
Dear GOD, I've been a very good boy...
He stopped, thinking. No, GOD won't believe that. He wadded up the piece of paper, threw it away, and started again:
Dear GOD, most of the time I've been a good boy...
He stopped in the middle of the line, again thinking, GOD won't be moved by this.
So he wadded up the letter and into the trash can it went.
Benjamin then went into the bathroom and grabbed a big terry cloth towel off the towel rack. He carried it into the living room and carefully laid it out on the couch. He smoothed out all the wrinkles. Then he went over to the fireplace mantle, reached up, and very carefully lifted down a statue of the Madonna. He had often seen his mother carefully dust the statue, and he had eyed it many times. On several occasions. his parents had told him that he could look but was not to touch the statue. Now, with all the care he could muster, he had it in his possession.
Benjamin gently placed the statue in the middle of the towel, carefully folding over the edges. He then placed a rubber band around the whole thing. He brought it to the desk, took out another piece of paper, and began to write his third letter to GOD. It went like this:
Dear GOD, if you ever want to see your mother again...
Are you all falling out of your chairs laughing? I know I am!!! LOL!!! Rolling, Rolling, Rolling!!!!

A twelve year old girl named Lia, entered a speech contest at school. She could have written on a plethora of topics, but she chose to write on her pro-life views, and abortion. She articulated her pro-life views so well that it impressed her teacher (pro-choice, and originally prompted her to change topics) and school, and she won her local school speech contest, leading her to the regional level. She did not win the regional speech contest, but she won so much more than that.
Her parent's recorded her speech and placed it on You Tube. Though she sparked a fire in some, in others she touched their hearts. Later, she found out that some women chose to give their babies life, rather than abort, due to her speech. Rather than win regional, and get a few extra pictures taken and a small trophy, she received the best trophy of all...lives saved!
Her video drew over 200,000 views, which in turn generated many comments. Some of those comments were extremely hateful, and some even threatened her. Subsequently, the comments had to be disabled due to the vicious threats.
Personally, I am so proud of her boldness to stand up and face the evil. I am sad these adults felt led to lash out in anger and hate. I know without JESUS, people will behave as such, but...she's twelve!
I am standing up with her! Abortion is murder! Psalm 139:14a says, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Jeremiah 1:5a says, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee.
GOD formed us and gave us life. Who has the right to take it away? NO ONE!! Exodus 20:13 says, Thou shalt not kill. GOD gave us life and HE wants us to live and to love one another. HE wants us to be patient, kind, loving and forgiving with each other, but what we have become is selfish, unkind, impatient and revengeful. We have become a people that does not believe in absolutes! Well, there is absolutely a GOD! There is absolutely an eternal punishment for those who choose to Lie, steal, KILL, worship other gods, turn away from the ONE AND ONLY TRUE LIVING GOD, commit adultery, (which includes all sexual sin) use GOD's name as a filth word to show disgust, not keep the Sabbath, and covet.
There is one more absolute that can not be overlooked...JESUS died on the cross for every person. What happened on the cross was a legal transaction. We broke GOD's perfect standard, (the Ten Commandments) and JESUS paid our fine in HIS life's blood, so we could be set free. When we turn away from our sin and trust in JESUS, the law will not longer have a hold on us, because JESUS stepped into the courtroom of forever and paid our fine, and the JUDGE will now let us go free. Free into eternal life! Wow!
If you have never trusted in JESUS, please do it today! The BIBLE says that today is the day of salvation! We never know when we will breathe our last breath. If you have had an abortion, and feel so empty and emotionally scarred, give it to the one who can take it all away. HE knows what has happened, and HE is ready to forgive you and give you a new life in HIM. TRUST in HIM!
Romans 10:9-10 says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
I hope you will confess to HIM today! I am praying for you all!

We praise GOD with our songs and hymns at Church, in our vehicles, while working, and almost anywhere. We sing praise songs for all sorts of reasons: personal worship to GOD, singing for joy, and singing while broken in spirit, but have you ever sang to win a battle?
Let's look at 2 Chronicles 20:20-25 and read the thrilling account of a battle won through praise.
20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your GOD, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper."
21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for HIS mercy endureth forever.
22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
2 Chronicles 20:12, 15 says that Jehoshaphat learned that a great multitude was coming against him. He turned to the LORD in prayer, "We have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee." In answer to that prayer, the SPIRIT of the LORD came upon a young man and through him, GOD sent the answer: "Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but GOD's."
The enemy was a ferocious, determined marching multitude. Jehoshaphat's only armor was his faith in the message of GOD's prophet. It was not his battle, it was GOD's battle. What unique weapons of warfare! " He appointed singers unto the LORD, who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for HIS mercy endureth forever."
Did GOD's people crumble before the massive onslaughts of the enemy because they were unarmed with weapons and armed only with praise to GOD? No! It says that when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set and ambush against the children of Ammon, Moab and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. "The enemy fought among themselves. They turned upon each other. "Everyone helped to destroy another." The valley was filled with dead bodies and "none escaped."
Wow! GOD is faithful! Jehoshaphat and his army did not have to lift a finger in battle, yet GOD fought for them and the battle was won, due the faithful praise lifted to GOD! Stay faithful, praise GOD, and remember...
There are multitudinous enemies out to hinder, attack and destroy the saints of GOD. The pressures will intensify as we draw nearer to the Second Coming of CHRIST. Satan knows his time is short, learn to praise GOD in a way that will throw the enemy into complete rout.
LORD, Teach Us To Praise.
When the battle rages and defeat seems imminent, praise will produce triumph!

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons. In his opening address he said,
"We can't keep people from going to pray. We can't keep them from reading their holy books and knowing the truth. We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their GOD. Once they gain that connection with GOD, our power over them is broken. So let them go to their prayers; let them have their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with GOD."
"This is what I want you to do," said the devil, "Distract them from gaining hold of their GOD and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"
"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.
"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered. "Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."
"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford the ir empty lifestyles."
"Keep them from spending time with their children. As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"
"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice. "Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive. To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly. "This will jam their minds and break that union with God."
"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and news papers."
"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."
"Invade their driving moments with billboards."
"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes.."
"Keep skinny , beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives. "
"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night. Give them headaches too! If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere."
"That will fragment their families quickly!"
"Give them distractions to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of life."
"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive. "Have them return from their recreation exhausted. Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead."
"Keep them busy, busy, busy!"
"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences. "
"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from GOD."
"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause."
"It will work!" It will work!"
It was quite a plan!
The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing people everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there. Having little time for their God or their families. Having no time to tell others about the power of GOD to change lives.
I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?
