Hello All, Grace and Peace be to you. I just finished watching the Ben Stein documentary about how scientist's who investigate "Intelligent Design" are being expelled from their positions in teaching institutions and Museums and such, due to the fact that they are trying to scientifically research to see if Intelligent Design could be right. If you have not seen this documentary, I Highly recommend it.
Our freedom in the scientific field is slowly being stripped from us. If we do not stand up for our rights we will wake one day and we will be living with an invisible wall around us preventing us from our right to freedom so many people have died to protect. The United States stand on the right to freedoms, but for how much longer?
If you are a scientist who believes in Darwinism than you are safe in the circle, but if you believe in the freedom to at least study the possibility of an Intelligent Designer you will be in danger of having all you have worked hard for stripped from you from the radical Darwin movement. Ben asked one of the most experienced Darwinist about the possibility of an Intelligent Designer, he said there could be, but argues that it should not be a part of the scientific research. Why not?
If the scientific world is about inquiry and investigation, how come they will not let scientist inquire and investigate the possibility of GOD and creation? The Darwinists are going to great lengths to protect a "theory" that really has never been proven. Darwinist always say we all evolved from a single cell which developed into ALL of what we see today. Ben asked the experienced Darwinist to explain where the single cell came from and he could not say. He said, I don't know." When you get to the very beginning of the origin, Darwinist really do not know, thus leaving the impression that the possibility for an Intelligent Designer is probable.
So, why are the Darwinist trying so hard to keep it out? I believe there is a bigger agenda here. If the world believes in this "theory" than it easier to initiate anything and see where it goes because there are no absolutes. If there is absolutely no GOD then, it is easier to advocate abortion, which is murder, but to someone who does not believe in the BIBLE, it would not be a big deal. (Tell that to the baby being tortured and killed in the womb!) If there is no GOD and we are an accident that evolved, we have no real purpose, so anything goes. Hey, wait a minute I believe that is happening already. Forcing evolution is the main step pushing people to dangerous idea's. Just look at what happened to the millions of Jews during the Holocaust. Evolution was a part of the reason Hitler did what he did. He thought he was doing good by cleansing all impure people to try to make a pure race to evolve and populate the world. It is easier to do that if we are an accident and not created with no one to be held accountable to.
Well, I believe in GOD and creation, but even if I didn't, I also believe we all should have the freedom to explore the possibility of what comes our way since so many died so we would have that right.

I believe in evolution and I believe in a Higher Power too. Why some people think we have to choose one or the other is beyond me. And blaming evolution because of peoples sick mind is like believing the lady that killed her kids because the voice (satan or whatever) told her so

Donna,
I have seen the film in question, and though i doubt the scientific clout behind a few of the interviewees I do believe it is wrong for the community to completely ignore the viewpoints of ID. The problematic part of trying to be scientific about creationism or intelligent design is that there is one variable that can't be tested or proven at all, therefore it isn't really a science as much as it is a belief...a hypothesis that neglects anything that DOESN'T include god, to me the non-exclusivity of ID is why it is not really science...but discrimination is not the answer.
Now, as far as Darwinism teaching that all life came from a single cell, that is entirely incorrect...you see singular cells do happen and organic matter CAN be synthetically created in the laboratory from substances and an atmosphere that would have existed during the early life formation history of our planet. I can provide you with info on that if you want it.
Now, where I believe that Ben screws this film up is when he goes to the concentration camps...Darwinianism does NOT in any way support euthanasia---certain extremists exist among every sub-culture and do things like this, our evolution will occur with our own desired selective breeding, it doesn't need to be synthesized at all.
Hitler was still a Theist.

I forgot to finish my point on singular cells, sorry
to addend the second paragraph in my last comment:
The organic material in question-proteins, acids, and other radicals when in the right density would have begun wrapping themselves up because of their atomic composition creating simple RNA and DNA---other organic materials would begin to combine and cell walls could have formed from viscous protein/liquid solutions---function could have merely happened because of the atomic structure of the proteins involved which would have caused the formation of singular cells, eventually those cells would have combined or morphed into more complicated structures leading up to bacterium, but this didn't all happen from a SINGULAR cell, but multiple unicellular systems in different locations---some branches would have been extinct by radical weather changes or temperature changes, but others would have evolved to withstand this, so on and so forth, eventually things begin to accelerate once unicellular systems meet up and start to transfer DNA in between species...from there anything is possible

Mea Culpa Bath and Body,
Thank you for your comment. I appreciate you stopping by, but JESUS said that HE is the only way to the FATHER. A person can believe in a higher power, but if that higher power is not JESUS, then it is a false god and has no power.
Evolution is a lie. The BIBLE is the only true Authority, and the BIBLE says that GOD created everything.
Essentially it boils down to this, you either see the world through darwinist's glasses or the glasses of the WORD of GOD which is the only truth.
The BIBLE says that apart from the SPIRIT we will not understand the things of the SPIRIT. It does not surprise me that there are people who will stand against the TRUTH.
I pray for you dear one.

Matt,
Thank you for stopping by, but again, apart from the SPIRIT, you will not understand the things of the SPIRIT. You can recite any book on science, but the BIBLE is my authority. It has been proven over and over how evolutionist's lie to try to keep their agenda alive. Sit under Ken Ham or Kent Hovind. They have truths that darwinist's do not want you to know.

Donna if you can provide any of those truths i would ardently research them and the evidence they conjure
thanks
