Hello All, Grace and Peace be to you from our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
Our family is committed to reaching the lost with the GOSPEL of JESUS! Our new family slogan this year is...
BE FISHERS OF MEN IN 2010!
How about you Christian? Are you living out the GREAT COMMISSION?
You can witness in a few different ways. First, you can hand out GOSPEL tracts, you can tell someone the GOSPEL as you are out and about, or tell someone your testimony about how JESUS saved you.
You can buy tracts at a Christian store, ask your Pastor if the Church has some to pass out, or order online. My favorite place to buy them online is from "Way Of The Master". There are a variety of clever tracts to start a conversation, all with the GOSPEL on them.
Another thing I do is seed the planet, I do this by placing tracts everywhere I go. In the grocery store, I place them on products for people to find. I place them in bathrooms, I leave them on tables with a tip in restaurants. Ask the LORD where HE would like you to place them. You never know how GOD will reach someone.
There are many ways to witness to people. Some people witness using "Romans Road". Romans Road is a popular way to witness straight from the book of Romans in the BIBLE. Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9-10. These scriptures are wonderful to lead someone to CHRIST as long as the law is used with it as well. Without the law, a person will not know what transgression of the law is, which is sin. 1 John 3:4b for sin is the transgression of the law.
Biblically, how is a person coverted? Psalm 19:7 says, The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. What is good for converting the soul? The law! Apostle Paul said in Romans 7:7, I had not known sin, but by the law.
When handing out a GOSPEL tract a person must read that they have broken at least one of GOD's perfect standard. (The Ten Commandments) Sin is breaking GOD's law. Romans 3:10 says, As it is written, There is NONE righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:23 says, For ALL have sinned and come short of the Glory of GOD. Romans 5:12 says, Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that ALL have sinned.
What happens to sinners?
Ephesians 5:5,6 says, For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Revelation 21:8 says, But the fearful, and UNBELIEVING, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
After the person understands they are a sinner, and headed for the day of wrath, when their hearts are contrite ( even if there is no evidence that they are repentant), tell them about JESUS. (Unless they ask you to stop, we have to respect them. What GOSPEL you do get to them GOD will use.)
A person must understand that the only hope for them is JESUS. Ask them if they know what JESUS did for them. Make sure you let them talk, but do not let them get off on bunny trails. (A tactic used by the enemy to get the person diverted to another topic.) If what they are asking does not pertain to the GOSPEL, lovingly tell them that you will get to that as soon as you are finished; by the time you reach that point, they most likely will forget their question.
Ask them if they understand what happened on the Cross 2000 years ago was a legal transaction. We sin and break GOD's law, and JESUS stepped out of HEAVEN, wrapped HIMSELF in human flesh to die on the CROSS as payment for our sin. Tell them because they have broken GOD's law, and are headed for eternal punishment, JESUS,(who loves them very much, chose to come and die in our place to give us eternal life. John 3 :16 says, For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave his only begotten SON, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 5:8 says ,But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
To be saved we all have to make a decision. Romans 10:9-10 says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Trust in the LORD, turn away from sin, and follow after JESUS for all eternity.
I hope you win many to CHRIST! Do not let rejection stop you, our command is to take the GOSPEL to all who will hear, GOD will cause the KINGDOM to increase. Remember, they are not rejecting you, they are rejecting GOD. There are many fish to catch, you have some throw backs, but keep your net out there, GOD will increase your catch.
We all need to be fishers of men...from 2010 and on! 1,2,3...EVERYONE CAST YOUR NETS!!!

Hi Donna,
Thank you for proclaiming the word of God!
It's great to see people who get to the point!
I work at a newspaper in Nebraska. Several years ago we had a young Belgian who was a foreign exchange student. He did a school-to-career internship at the paper. He had to be one of the hardest high school interns we had.
If you get at chance, visit our paper at fremonttribune.com. I write the Christ-centered "Spiritual Spinach" columns for the paper.
Please also feel free to visit my Web site at www.realspiritualspinch.com. I have a blog there and examples of my columns.
Bless you!

Hi Donna,
I enjoyed a refresher course in sharing the Gospel. We do need to continue proclaiming the Word and be fishers of men. Where I am, it is quite difficult because there is not much freedom to do so. But God makes a way for people to come to Christ. You're right that though men reject us (God), we should bravely continue the work of proclaiming the Gospel. God's grace and blessings to a great harvest of souls this 2010.
